Ask Ledo - Your CRM Assistant

Ask Ledo is your intelligent assistant that can answer questions about your leads, pipeline, and sales performance. Ledo has access to your company's CRM data and provides instant, data-driven insights.

Where to Find Ask Ledo

The Ask Ledo chat card appears on your dashboard:

  • Main Dashboard - Below the "Today's Summary" card
  • Shopify Dashboard - Below the "Daily Advisor" card

How to Use Ask Ledo

  1. Type your question in the chat input field
  2. Press Enter or click the Send button
  3. Ledo will analyze your CRM data and respond
  4. Lead names in responses are clickable links to their detail pages

Voice Input

You can speak your questions instead of typing! Click the microphone icon (🎤) next to the send button to use voice input.

How to Use Voice Input:

  1. Click the microphone icon to start listening
  2. Speak your question clearly
  3. The icon will turn red while recording
  4. Your speech will be converted to text in the input field
  5. Press Enter or click Send to submit your question

Tips for Voice Input:

  • Speak clearly and at a natural pace
  • The recording automatically stops after a brief pause
  • Click the mic icon again to stop recording manually
  • Works best in quiet environments
  • Supported on Chrome, Edge, Safari, and most modern browsers

On Mobile (PWA):

  • Grant microphone permission when prompted
  • Recording has a 30-second timeout to prevent battery drain
  • If the interface becomes unresponsive, close and reopen the chat modal

Note: Voice input uses your browser's built-in speech recognition (Web Speech API). Your audio is processed locally or through your browser vendor's speech services - it is not stored by LeadMachine.

When Ledo mentions specific leads, their names appear as clickable links. Click any lead name to go directly to their detail page.

Ledo uses your actual CRM data to provide answers, including:
  • Total lead counts and status breakdown
  • Leads by state and city (top 10)
  • Leads by source (top 5)
  • Recent lead activity
  • Stale lead counts (no activity in 14+ days)
  • Weekly comparison data

Tips for Best Results

  1. Be specific - "Which state has the most leads?" works better than "where are my leads?"
  2. Ask about data you have - Ledo can only answer based on your CRM data
  3. Use follow-up questions - You can ask clarifying questions in the same chat session
  4. Clear the chat - Click the trash icon to start a fresh conversation

Limitations

  • Ledo can only access data for your company
  • Recent leads are limited to the 20 most recently updated
  • Recent activity is limited to the 15 most recent actions
  • Geographic data requires leads to have state/city information filled in

Troubleshooting

"Unable to generate a response"

  • Try rephrasing your question
  • Make sure your question relates to CRM data
  • Check that the Gemini API key is configured (SuperAdmin Settings)

"AI service not configured"

  • Contact your administrator to set up the Gemini API key

No lead links appearing

  • Ledo will only link leads that exist in the data it received
  • For very specific lead searches, the lead may not be in the recent 20

Privacy & Security

  • Ledo only accesses data within your company
  • Questions and responses are not stored permanently
  • Ledo cannot access other companies' data
  • All communication uses secure HTTPS
