Customer to Lead Linking
How Linking Works
When orders sync from DecoNetwork:
- Customer email is extracted from order
- LeadMachine searches for matching lead
- If found, order links to existing lead
- If not found, lead can be created
Automatic Lead Creation
During sync, customers with orders are linked:
- Lead type: "DecoNetwork Customer - [Store Name]"
- Contact email saved
- Order history visible on lead
- Source tracked for attribution
Manual Linking
If a lead isn't automatically linked:
- View the order in DecoNetwork dashboard
- Note the customer email
- Find or create the lead in LeadMachine
- Future syncs will link automatically
Sync Settings
Sync Frequency Options
Hourly (Recommended):
- Best for active stores
- Near real-time order updates
- Good balance of freshness vs. API usage
Daily:
- Suitable for lower volume stores
- Syncs once per day
- Reduces API calls
Manual:
- On-demand sync only
- Click "Sync Now" when needed
- Full control over timing
Manual Sync
Trigger a sync anytime:
- Go to DecoNetwork connection settings
- Click "Sync Now"
- Progress shown during sync
- Results displayed on completion
What Syncs:
- All enabled data types
- Updates existing records
