Focus Business Signals

Focus Mode doesn't just list per-lead busywork. It also reads the business signals your connected tools already expose and surfaces the ones worth acting on — so Focus leads with what actually moves your business, one calm step at a time.

These cards appear automatically in Focus alongside your leads and tasks. You don't configure them; they show up when there's something real to act on, and they compete for your attention based on impact.

The signals Focus watches

Each signal only appears when the data behind it is connected, and Focus shows at most one card per signal so it never floods you.

  • Revenue to recover — a failed or past-due payment in your connected payment tools (Stripe, Authorize.net). Usually the highest dollar-per-minute action you can take today.
  • Win back a quiet customer — a repeat customer who bought before but has gone quiet. Reconnecting with a loyal customer is far cheaper than finding a new one.
  • Quiet HubSpot deals — an open HubSpot deal with no activity in 14+ days. Deals go cold quietly; a short, specific nudge keeps pipeline moving. (Requires the HubSpot integration.)
  • An empty week — no meetings booked in the next 7 days for your connected calendar, or a past meeting with no follow-up logged. Conversations are how deals advance.

How Focus decides what to show

  • Every signal is scored against your company's objective (e.g. a store weights revenue recovery highest; a services team weights meetings). The most valuable card rises to the top.
  • Signals compete with your lead and task actions — Focus always shows the single highest-impact thing, whether that's a call, a task, or a business signal.
  • If a card isn't useful to you, use "Not for me." Focus learns from that and stops surfacing that kind of card as often.

Turning signals on

There's nothing to switch on for the signals themselves — they follow your integrations:

  • Connect payments (Stripe / Authorize.net) → revenue-recovery and quiet-customer signals.
  • Connect HubSpot → quiet-deal signals from your pipeline.
  • Connect Google Calendar → meeting-gap and follow-up signals.

The more of your business LeadMachine can see, the more useful Focus becomes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why am I not seeing any business-signal cards? They only appear when the underlying tool is connected and there's something to act on — e.g. an actual past-due payment or a genuinely quiet deal. No connected data means no signal.

Can I stop a certain kind of card? Yes. Click "Not for me" on the card. Focus down-weights that category for you going forward.

Do these replace my tasks and leads in Focus? No — they're mixed in. Focus ranks everything together and shows you the most valuable next action, whatever type it is.
